One of forty-six recipients across the UK to receive a 2021 Princess Royal Training Award.
About the reward
Training is at the core of every successful business providing benefits such as improved bottom line, empowered employees, engaged employees and increased capability. It is the investment that offers a return repeatedly.
Following a one-year leadership development programme, Rochdale Boroughwide Housing has been named as one of forty-six recipients across the UK to receive a 2021 Princess Royal Training Award. This honour is given to employers who have created outstanding training and skills development programmes that have resulted in proven exceptional benefits.
“We are delighted to offer this prestigious award, in line with the City & Guilds Group values, to employers in the UK who can prove that their outstanding training and skills development programmes have resulted in exceptional benefits for their business.”
The RBH Repairs and Maintenance team has been recognised for their outstanding training and development programme, designed, and facilitated by Catherine Thomson and Arlene Ward of The Houston Exchange.
“We believe this award can be attributed to a combination of the design & facilitation of the programme, the collaborative nature of the relationship between The Houston Exchange and Rochdale Boroughwide Housing and the application of the learning from the programme by the leaders attending the development programme. We are delighted in having this programme professionally recognised.”
“This programme provides participants with a structure that tailors their learning to their current and future development needs. An integral part of the programme design was to work with RBH to define the leadership behaviours that unlock business performance, link learning to business initiatives, goals and KPI’s to track performance improvement and measure the impact of new leadership behaviours on the creation of team climate ( how it feels to work here)”
